ours literally came out of no-were, i live in a little village and walked back from shops and saw on the green box to say it was installed. rang up EE and it was an extra £10 a month which i cant complain at as i download a lot of movies etc so worth the extra expense.

Mine before Edd use to be 2.63mbps lol

I have 4meg, I can get all the porn I need, get all the Streaming services we need and download sensible levels of stuff. I'd honestly not know what to do with 40meg lol

I may even ask to have the slower and cheaper internet option from Virgin. They keep putting the speed up 'for free', but I don't take much advantage of it. I used to download a lot more when I had slow internet wierdly enough, it used to take a hell of a long time to download songs at a few kilobytes a second, can' believe I used to download movies that way!

I found as my speed increased, I download more but it feels like less as it takes less time to get through.

Current speed here is around 3-3.5mbps though. All around me has fibre but not here :(

Mind you, the BT halloween advert makes me lol "I'm a student and I can afford it" - great for you pal, shame BT can't afford to install it though lol
