Need info asap...

Need to insure my brother's Cavalier for tomorrow as an emergency. I've had a quick gander online but they don't seem to insure 'modified' cars.

Even Sky insurance who have a site also don't insure 'modified' cars.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Rep to anyone who directs me to useful sites :thumb:

Not tried flux yet as they didnt turn up in any searches in google. It's insured already and so am I on the Nova but classic insurance doesn't give use of another car.

I had temp cover with them a few years back, I did have another car insured with them at the time though, not sure if that makes a difference or not. Worth a try

Mr Tek have you tried Herts insurance? They do short terms on modified.

No short term insurers I know (including our sister company) will insure anything but a lock stock standard UK car.

Ps, add yourself as a named driver to your brother's policy.

All sorted... evetually I rented a car as it worked out the same. I called many insurers and found that none of them will insure modified.
