The workshop manuals better but i would personally have both

get a late light blue workshop manual (incl 1400 & 1600) for the mucky bits

get a green one for the mk2 stuff (if you have a mk2)

[mk3 vinny]

iv got a mk1 with a mk2 dash and for the cash probs get both then if there is a difference
