For sale I have an almost full 1.6 16V conversion package for a Nova, you will only need the front and rear gearbox mounts to complete it.
This engine is VERY healthy and I can guarantee you that you won't be disappointed. Unlike most 1.6 16V engines it does NOT smoke on start up, idle or half/full throttle! Its still in the car and can be heard running.
Its a C16XE tall block running full X16XE loom, management, all sensors and manifolds. Reason I've done this is because the X16 loom I had is like brand new but the C16 loom looked a bit tired.
You will receive:
- Full engine including loom, ecu, chip/transponder, alternator and starter motor
- F15 gearbox (mech speedo) with a VSS sensor
- GSI drive shafts
- Hubs and knuckles
- All water hoses
- Correct type short throttle cable (not bodged long one)
- GSI radiator
- Driver side engine mount
- Fuel unions
- Brand new un-fitted QH full cambelt kit and water pump
Mods:
- VX "powerbox" inlet
- Sportex 4-1 manifold
- Lightweight 8V flywheel (new clutch fitted about 500 miles ago)
- Custom induction hose with K&N style air filter
- Carbon fiber spark plug cover (needs finishing off)
To make this engine run and drive you need:
- Both gearbox mounts
- Connect fuel lines
- Fit exhaust
- Wire it up
