What is the temp guage showing on normal driving, mine are pretty good but dont seem to blow too much heat unless theyre on setting two on the fan, then theyre toasty and warm :d

Gauge is always low. I had it running in my drive for half an hour. And then did the school run and it's still cold and so are the pipes. It is pumping water into the expansion tank tho

This time of year it should hold pretty much on quarter on the guage, if its below that then your stat is probably broked, cheapest place to start fiddling too:thumb:

My MK4 1.8 pretty much always ran with the temp needle in the blue but the heater was nice and warm :)

Mine used to do that (1.6) but my stat was goosed, replaced it (about a fiver) and it sits about smack on quarter all the time now, coming back from brizzle yesterday, outside temp was -1, and i had my blowers on the second setting and my window down slightly and i was perfectly warm and happy all the way home lol
