Hi, I’m selling my 3 door Nova saloon C20XE. I took the car off the road a couple of months ago for the winter with the intention of turning it into a track car for next year but unfortunately now have nowhere to keep it. So the time has come to sell. The car has no tax and has MOT until June 2012. The car is also registered as a 2litre on the log book.
Engine:
· Late C20XE engine removed from cav sri 16v
· F20 gear box
· Cam belt and water pump kit
· New sump gasket
· Sump cleaned
· New rocker cover gasket and breather mod done
· Reconditioned alternator
· New gm spark plugs
· Conversion engine mount and spacer kit
· 22 spline nova gsi drive shafts with nearly new inner cv joints
· Nova gsi radiator
This was all done before the engine was fitted, 1000 milesago.
Shell:
· 1983, A reg, Mocha brown 3 door nova saloon
· 63,000 miles ish
· Inside completely stripped out
· Original front seats
· Rear strut brace welded in
· Engine bay fully seam welded and strengthened and inside front wheel arches
· Nova gsi fuel tank
· Walbro high pressue external fuel pump
· All new rubber fuel lines
Suspension:
· Standard shocks
· Looks like 40mm lowering springs but not hundred percent sure
Brakes:
· 2 litre cav sri front brakes
· Standard rear drums
Bad points:
· The car is 29 years old so has some age related body work issues
· Front wing has a dent and rust bubbles
· Rear arch had a dent and has been repaired and the colour match isn’t great
· Has rust bubbles on lower front bumper
· Thrust bearing is noisy
· Exhaust rattles on back axel
