engine management light

right i blew me head gasket at pod on satday night its now bin sorted but when i start the car up me engine management light is on constantly and it smells like its runnin a bit rich

me mate surgested takin the - off the battery for 10 mins 2 clear it
it didnt work
another has surgested puttin me ignition on a good few times 2 clear it
is there ne otherway 2 clear it or ne 1 know wot the prob cud be

also i put the ignition on whilst the head was off so i cud drop me electric window 2 push the car out me 1st mate reconed this cud have done it ne 1 got ne ideas

oh yeah 4 got 2 mention it feels a bit sluggish like its gunna stall and if i rev it hard it it revs up then stalls

20-30 ign on and off's should clear it. if not then get the ecu fault that its reporting

theres a section on how to get the fault codes from the ecu light, so you can tell what you didnt reconnect properly after doing the headgasket ;)

probs sorted thx locky me dad hadnt put a little hose on and he'd connected another in the wrong part on the inlet manifold
but thx agian 4 ur help mate much appriciated
