1.7td into 1.5td pt.2

Anyone have any ideas where to put a intercooler when I fit this 1.7TD engine, or would it run ok without one. :?

you can run without all the crappy airboxes, use an induction kit, and fit the intercooler just above the gearbox.

otherwise make something custom!!

get a GSi radiator and pipe the intercooler in front of it, induction kit on the turbo inlet & you need to do some big mods to the back of the engine to fit it to the 1.5 gearbox and i am suffering from clutch slip with the 1.5td clutch. my advice is put the 1.7gearbox in, you will have a higher top end with this as well.
