stupid metro impulse buy

The mk1 catergorically cannot go, i think id cry if it did :tard:lol

The mk2 is midway through having a xe converted to a let with a evo 6 turbo and pulsar tb's for epic boostings as a track machine

aand the metro was a silly blind buy off ebay for £500 out of complete impulse :roll::tard:

bought it sheerly because i have a sierra 4x4 set up sat in my workshop from a abandoned 4x4 nova idea and seeing as the 6r4 is my dream car i casually thought "yep, 6r4 rep" and i planned to have a rear mounted 24v cosworth v6 with a mt75 box with a reverse rotation transferbox off of it, full space frame, 4wd, everything.

i really dont have the room/time/money for all 3. Yet, i dont want to part with either of my novas but at the same time i dont want to abandon the metro, even though i hate it in its current state. Bearing in mind the mk2 is nearer completion than the metro, what would you do?! help please! :cry:

im never going to earn enough for a works one though :/ and by the time the mk2s done i'll never find another mint shetro shell like this one........ why do i do these things :cuckoo:

We sold a 'mint' g reg metro for about £100 a few years back... How the hell are they worth £500+ now lol

Keep all of them, the couple of hundred you'd get for the metro will last 10 minutes probably then your skint and back to square 1. As per Stuart , pick one, finish it then worry about the next 1.

Plus whoever dies with the most toys wins. :)

Put a 1.8 k series I. The front of the metro a d use it as a run about finish the let rag it flog it then you will have some cash to spend on a decent engine rather than a shonky underpowered v6

24v cosworth from a scorpio ultima is hardly "shonky" or "underpowered" rather put a ****ing vtec in than use a ****ty 1.8 k series

With 4 wheel drive you will need more than 192bhp to get the thrills of a 6r4

And the reason I said k series is there's loads of them there cheap and it would only be a put on till you built it 4 wheel drive
