Btt anyone??
for a show car, you can do anything, but for the road, finding a type approved light from another car is by far the easiest way to keep safe & legal.

You mean you understood his drivel
Aamir nova is the one your talking about, he fitted Range Rover rings to each head light. They'd only be on the side light tho.

They were Range Rover internals fitted.

and thus totally illegal on the road imho
The clear lenses are excellent though, look far more modern, would love to see the car in the flesh to have a further inspection

They'd probably look like Marty Feldman on the road with no beam pattern though...

Not in theory, theyre projector internals, so as long as they were built well and set up properly on an mot beam allignment tester, then they will/would be perfectly legal!
And after the thought and time alone thats gone into that car, i would guess theyre done correctly and not just cobbled in, with the hope they will be something like, like most kids who bung a non standard hid kit in and go out and give everyone retinal cancer every night!
Depends on the type approval, whether its on the projector unit or the whole (range rover) lamp as a complete item. The beam pattern should be fine as its not affected by the lenses, assuming the aim is set up Ok.
and its fitted about a foot higher & 2 feet further apart on a disco/rangey.
If they were half right that'd be sound with me nothing can be worse than standard nova lights and I wouldn't worry too much about e marks

So alot of different points to consider aswell as the regulations to the vosa men thanks for the response's fellas appreciated
Might be worth making a set plug and play (if possible) so they can be swapped out easily if needed

visit a couple of your local mot stations with a copy of the pic of the black nova & ask them, as they will have the say on it.

Couldn't afford proper morettes? lol

My opinion as a tester, is that if the aim is okay, and the lamp unit is secure, then I'll pass it. Any modification must be assessed on it's merits, with the mind set "can I pass it?" as apposed to "can I fail it?"
^^6 they look like corsa b morrettes without the out casing on f lol lol
Modernising old cars rarely works out for the best. I'm not a fan.
If anything, I've always made my 'old skool' cars look like the earliest variants.
