Started by mounting up the axle ..

Back end nearly done, just bushes to put in rose joints and second bar to be added on the top of the link rods..
Front end now, bought a 2.0 engine instead of using the 2.3 as its better set up for what I need, the 2.3 will do for spares tho as ill use the bigger turbo and other bits off it, engine mounted up to RB25 box from omega

Time to lift the lump into the bay, niticed it was hitting the X-member and steering rack so removed them, plenty space now

Ive plated off the ends where the X-member was cut off and ill be putting in a strenghting bar after the sump has been modded
now for the good bit, engine in without any wood jacks or cranes to hold it... gonna turn the top hat 180 deg and weld and re-drill holes so its facing the front.

At this rate, you'll have it done in a fortnight..... It looks spot on so far..
The opels really had better rust protection than the vauxhalls of the same age...
Yeh ain't to bad condition for its age. Things will be slowing down for a bit the now , got loads to buy for it then hopefully get it blitzed in one go... In the mean time I've got another Saab engine to put in a Mazda rx8!!!
