Misfire Detection on E16SE

Hi. Does anyone know if the engine management system on the E16SE is clever enough to detect a misfire such as plug wire arcing and put the car into limp home mode? Also should this car be using resistor or non resistor plugs?

it is really basic. there is no sensing of the spark system on an e16se.

is there an EML code to help? it doesn't have special leads or plugs. the dizzy is the same as the corsa b 1.2 8v
