8v baffle plate on xe

Ive just fitted a rubber bonded gasket on my xe before i fitted the engine and its pissing out.
So when you fit it what do you do-
I used sealer do you?
Has anyone used the same gasket twice?
I tightened the bolts up as tight as they would go do you?
It might not be the sump as i think it my be the oil pump gasket but al do the pair together.

You need 20mm bolts mate there shorter than xe ones

I bought the bolts off auto vaux wen i got the gasket.
I think i may have over tightened them an the gaskets bulging out the sides

Yea, they are only pinched upto something like 8-10nm iirc, i'm sure someone will correct me. If you've over tightened it then its probably buggered :(
