Today I fitted my carbon fibre scuttle cover from Chris at CMComposites. I then swapped my MOMO wheel for my flocked GSI wheel which was done by Prey. I then changed my fuel filter and changed over my header tank and filled it up with antifreeze (a bit late I know but oh well!)

No wonder youre losing races if youre stopping halfway down the track to lick each other, i think you either need to stick to racing, or go dogging away from the track, thats where youre going wrong

Washed the three Novas today, all were absolutely filthy. Not many drives with three roadworthy Novas in Scotland I suspect?

I took the 1.0 for a wee drive, the winter has taken it's toll on the rear steelies......apart from that I still think it's ace.

Ran my facet pump into my ignition, mounted fuel pressure regulator onto bulkhead, searched high and low for a slightly shorter fan belt, fitted my omex rev limiter, set it up briefly at 7k, ran up to temperature, balanced 40s best we could by ear. Then went on a little test drive. Fuelling still miles out, shot a backfire so big on a gear change it blew my rear silencer off one of the rubbers! Rolling road in the week a john hardmans to be set up properly if he can squeeze it in. Oh and ordered my oil cooler kit from tweeks!

well after a few days of scratching my head and preparing to get my new engine this saturday... Remembered I needed to finish off fitting the dash, and then remembered that I have a problem with it...

Any ideas on how to sort this out? The dash has taken a knock and has broken the mounting point to bolt into the bit at the top of the dash behind the clocks:

View from the top of the dash just outside the windscreen:
