I painted my old SR lower half in Rover Hurricane Grey - closest match in paint you can get I was told.

I painted mine with an industrial 2 pack paint with a matting agent, is a little too gloss and shiny but much better than vinyl

Forgot to add as per Royston's post - if you use Hurricane Grey straight on the existing paint it will be too glossy.

I used Simonez Underguard on first and that gave a good texture - you can see in my project threads the outcome.

Hurricane grey may be a match to the later blue/grey vinyl but Conza123 has an early SR which is grey. Take the car to a automotive paint supplier and get them to match it.

bumper paints are available from upol... they are like wee & you have to be careful spraying it, but you can get decent results

Would Hell Grau not be a metallic colour?

UPOl mid grey is a another one to consider, or get your painter to have a look through his colour chart and pick whatever looks right for it.
