Hi all,
just wondered if anyone has used a method of keeping the water from getting underneath the bottom of the doors to prevent any rust from developing?
My doors are absolutely fine i just dont want any rust developing lol
Thanks :thumb:

They will get wet because the window seals aren't totally water tight, so rain runs straight through the doors and (hopefully) out of the drainage holes at the bottom. Taking the door cards off and spraying inside with cavity wax is the best thing to do really. Also make a point of regularly checking the doors for stone chips and then dealing with them before rust sets in.

Only as long as you don't end up blocking said holes! lol

Place some straws in them job jobbed!
I pour oil into the bottom of the doors each year so it goes right into the seams. It will be a few years before I know if the start rusting or not...I'll let you know!
