I drove from Brizzle to Portishead and then back to Dorchester today. Parts of Yeovil were so bad you couldnt even distinguish the flooded fields from the roads. Didnt see any stuck cars though so people appear to have been sensible.

Frome should be Ok, depends where though as the car park in town tends to get quite damp. The route I used to go was mostly on high ground but that was approaching from the south lol

Took me two an half hours to get home from work yesterday. Only a 35 mile drive.

A5 was closed at A444 by Tywcross as it had flooded across 4 lanes. M5 was closed yesterday morning. Most of the outside lane of M6 between J6 & J4 was flooded on the north & south too.

mowgli

I pick up the A5 via The Long Shoot & go all the way down it to Muckley Corner then hanger left, through Walsall Wood & down Green Lane to Mouse Hill (Pelsall) & through Willenhall to back end of Wednesfield etc.

decent amount of rain in Surrey tonight, had much lolz hitting puddles at full speed and watching the cars behind that were following to closely have no time to react as they left themselves no space to see what was going on. :d

Brue, Parrett, Huntspill, Axe and Yeo are the main ones round there - the whole area used to be marshland/flood plain but was drained off.

My ex's dad's farm is there (right next to the M5), probably under 3' of water at the mo lol
