My saloon should end up quite unique once I'm finished, I hope to get loads of small details in on mine that take few looks to notice it..
I'm glad I'm not alone on the fact loons have more wheel/lowering potential.
Defenetly. think am running ET 3 lol
scott.parker
19-11-12, 10:25 AM
Really?? Lol there was I worried about ET28
Et23 the teledials are and they have 20mm adaptors would prefer 15mm ones though

Much preffered the original wheels as they matched the black bumpers and grill so well, but then wheels are something that are easily changed so no harm done :)
Good job on the engine change, its a lovely car.
As said not to everyones taste bt love to be different
Hate to say it but for a saloon thats dam nice, well done mate,
Cheers mate much appreciated am guessn u dont like saloons very much hahaha

looks really nice this, especially from the rear end. Just needs some more low and it'll be spot on!
Need 15mm adaptors instead of 20mm ones that are on it wheels stickout to much to go any lower
Wasn't too sure at first but it all works well, even though i'm not a fan of lairy coloured wheels!
A bit of camber

No don't get me wrong, I went being funny, just surprised as didn't know the plastic shims could give that much camber?

misunderstood you, sorry :P perhaps he used 5 packets worth? lol ive seen people use washers too :tard:
scott.parker
23-11-12, 09:39 PM
Well I did think about washers lol seen that golf with bolts between the stub and beam? Lol death trap..
Ummm, apart from shortened tyre life, what is accheived by making the wheels look like theyre about to fall off (camber y0), i spent ages lining up and measuring my front wheels to make sure they were sat right in the slots on my coilovers so i had no camber, i cant get my head round why others go out and deliberately do it?
Not having a pop, im just curious to know is all!

Spud in this case it tip the wheel edge under the arch for more lows..

I agree what Spud says when its about a Hatch, it's different when it's on a Euro'd Saloon! :)

Dont forget some camber is/can be good. Think race car wise.
But like this car its done for looks and clearance.
Done for clearence a 100# when i get my 15mm adaptors instead of 20mm they will be gtn straightnd up a bit just stick out to much it was done with 2 washers on each bolt at bottom of stub axle and longer bolts
Probably not great but its tight and no play and handles like a demon hahah
Nice to see this still goin strong was really quick as a 16 16v
Night and day better with the c20xe not faund of the 1600
