anything i should be looking out for when giving one of these cars the once over?

I have a V Reg one mate. Idle control valve might need replacing, apart from that mines solid as hell. I'm on 75000 with full dealer service until i got hold of it, so it was in good condition..

Yes but fly by wire throttle and black plastic rocker cover on those (corsa c) - Z12XE code rather than X12XE as far as I remember.
