I set my alarm today and as soon as it sets about 10secs later it goes off. There is nothing moving inside the car to cause this.

Does anyone know what the problem might be?

cheers

could it be the heat coming off the engine as theres a black wire which i think is the sensor that is right next to it. Theres no delay when i close my door with the interior light.

One of the sensors way be playing up, check the boot, bonnet, doors switches for broken wires?
May help, may not.

just got in from work, bout 10 minutes drive and set the alarm, i looked through the window and the red light on the left sensor was flashing like mad, then the alarm went off. Gonna leave it 30mins - 1hr to cool abit and set it again and see what happens.
