Putting a 1.4 into 1.2

Right im rather hastily planning putting a 1.4 J plate (carb engine) into my 1.2 (carb engine) F Plate.
Just wondering which dizzy and coil to use.

If i were to use the 1.2 dizzy and coil on the 1.4 engine what difference if any would it make?? I have a strange shaped coil on my 1.2 with a dizzy cap that is screwed on at either side, the 1.4 has the cylinder shaped coil and the dizzy cap thats held on by 2 clips.

anyone got any advice for me??

use the dizzy n coil from the 14sr as they give a stronger spark. also the 14sr coil has an extra ground on it

think will was running his engine with rong ignition and he didnt really notice.

although you really could do with the 1.4 items

mine (1.2 carb to 1.4 carb) uses 1.4 dizzy and coil. Coil has an extra little bit under it that plugs into the dizzy anyway...

my 1.4 uses the 1.4 dizzy and coil....... well actually it doesnt use it right now cause its fooked, :( lol

you can run it on either but you need the dissy and coilpack

both have the amplifier except on the lucas ones there in the dissy and the bosch its under the coil
