Just wondering whats peoples opinions or knowledge is on exhaust systems for a c20let nova.
Say its running phase 2 (no higher) with FMIC etc.
So does it absolutely need to be a minimum 2.5" system or would it be just as happy running a 2" system?
Whats your thoughts/ideas?

2.25" would be ok I reckon as that's what a standard Calibra system is.

Standard downpipe is only that size so unless you replaced that as well there wouldn't be much point fitting a bigger system after it.

As lee said 2.25 would be fine. But would restrict it above 250, so phase 2 would be the limit really...

I used standard downpipe (2.25") connected to ashley system (also 2.25") and ran fine on ph2, engine did have 3" previously and it was just as fast with the 2.25"

Pointless doing 2.25, just go for a 2.5 inch system!

I got a 2.5" system made up for my let and it's fine, rather tight fit following
Original nova run mind,

I gave my local power flow £200 from downpipe to back box

Thanks guys, ive priced a custom system from a local fabricators who recommended 2.5" but was really just wondering if there was something of a useful size off the shelf that could be modded to fit. It seems the biggest size you get for the nova is 2" system and yet Jetex do a corsa b system that is 2.25 or 2.5".
