I had some sad news today that Steve who built H1GTE back in the day has passed away this week. I don't know a lot of details other than it was cancer.

I know a lot of people on here are relatively new to the Nova scene, but there are some of us who have been around a long time and would of known Steve personally. Either way I am sure we can all enjoy his car (also sadly no longer with us due to fire damage).

I will be organising a collection to send some flowers (shaped as a reg plate H1GTE, or as a Griffin, not sure yet) if anyone who knew him would be interested? Any excess money I'd be sending to cancer research or to a charity of Julie's (his partner) choice.

The funeral is in Warrington next Thursday, sadly I can't make it but I can get details if anyone knew him who would be interested in attending.

I am on my iPad so not easy for to post any pictures but if anyone else is able to then please feel free to share and post below. Or if anyone has any memories of Steve please feel free to share....

RIP Mate :(

Back in the 90's, Steve and his wife were always around at the PNG meets. Great couple, great company, great car... Steve, you were an asset to the Nova world mate. Until we meet again. RIP.
