rear fog light

today i was trying to sort out the wiring for the rear fog light it works with the switch on the old conector so i wired up the mk2 switch and it didn't work so i tryed to light it up with a wire between te terminals to check the switch and i sliped and put it in the wrong hole.

there was a flash behind the dash and now it dosnt work at all. iv checked the fuses but they all look ok what could the problem be.

no the bulb is fine am I checking the correct fuse 13 on mk1

right sorted the fog light out it was a fuse however it was the passanger head light fuse. still not working on the mk2 button tho. will have to rewire it .

You sure its not a dodgy mk2 switch? You got another one you could try

got it sorted now had the wireing the wrong way round lol but the drivers tail light has gone out since then and I cant get it back on tryed 3 new bulbs you cant turn it the wrong way so there in right. there is a small amount of power there like 3-4v and the earth works fine got me baffled lol p.s the break light works fine

Both rear tail are separated fused so check the fuses
