doiny my head gasket an was jw if it would be worth it to put a 1.2 carb head on my 1400 bottom end that came out a spi astra??:thumb:

yes, then get a 1.3 inlet and carb to match

the 1.2 carb & inlet will also work quite well.

Because the bore of the 1400 is larger than the 1200 and the combustion chamber is smaller on the 1200.... Could mean you need diesel to not detonate lol

stu, the bore of a 1.4 (77.6mm) is about the same as a 1.2 carb (77.8mm) & the spi piston has a largish dish, so its not far off my 1200+1300=1400 conversion, but with maybe 10.5:1 cr.

Engine box loom ecu shafts and hubs 500 it's got a power cap and its a f16 box

Fuel tank and pump too
