hi all
after reading a fair few threads + not realy finding a good solution apart from standalone management i stumbled across someone suggesting unichip

this is to be a fairly cheap turbo build, will use a decompression plate etc so although will be cheap will be done well

i dont like the idea of the switch to trick ecu, nor do i like the idea of using just a rising rate fpr

has anyone tried unichip piggyback ecu's?
there seems to be a few different ones

any help would be great

cheers :thumb:

this is doomed to fail thats why everyone who has done it says stand alone

Same idea just not as poo and has open software.

I dislike the unichip as you are tied into using their dealers for 'mapping', whereas atleast Greddy/AEM/some south african company I cant remember the name of you can do it yourself or take it to a myriad of 'mappers'
I'd opt for stand alone as the costs will be very similar and at the end the stand alone will sell for not much less than you paid whereas a piggy back will sell for shag all.
