best uprated brakes on a let conversion!

as title what are the best brakes to use on a let conversion , had v6 on my last xe but had a load of pedal travel to stop properly i was told all v6 brakes are like that when put on nova's etc ??? i thought either cav or calibra turbo or uprated 16v ones? any help please

the ones you have suggested are no different from each other i had v6 set up and lived with it it stopped ultra well if your on a big budget then go or brembos etc but even then you will have alot of pedal travel
