Just wondering if theres any different steering racks that will fit a nova? i dont need power steering and dont really want the quick rack root, just a slightly tighter feeling rack?

Any help appreciated :)

Sorry i meant from other vehicles such as corsa's etc?

You can use a Corsa rack which is less turns lock to lock, but I've not heard of them feeling any better other than the improved lock. Never noticed a problem with the 'tightness' of a standard Nova setup though?

are all the corsa racks less turns lock to lock or is there a specific one to order? that may be what i need, i fitted a recon nova rack a few thousand miles ago but im not happy with it. thats why im looking for other options.

Is the rack itself moving and just need the tension nut doing up a bit?

possibly, ive never tried tightening it. Just thought it would be setup. I guess its worth giving it a go....

If you get a Corsa rack make sure you fit Nova track rods and ends to it

Iirc corsa B racks that use EPAS on the colum are 2.7 Lock to lock,
Iirc you use the rack and nova steering arms ( corsa are longer )

Just what I was told, my 2.25 quaife q-rack was a ballache when parking of doing a 3 point turn with no power assist lol but fookin loved it on the open road, the new gsi feels odd compared to it lol

i agree on the corsa b epas rack.. i got one for a tenner.. it is absolutely identical to the nova, apart from the longer track rods, so it is a straight swap.

I known it for a while, just can't tell the difference down the scrappy lol otherwise I'd have one lol

Look at the coulmn if its EPS then rack is 2.8, then when you take it off just to double check put mole grips on the end and see how many turns its got
