View Full Version : Stolen nova, Hull!
As title, my mates little 1ltr got stolen last night and as anyone would be he is gutted, i figure the more eyes that could be looking for it can only be a good thing!
Was taken overnight from the Anlaby area of Hull, apparently its not on the corsa wheels in the pic but on black 17s...
Btw, its the RED one pictured, not the BLUE one, as that one is mine and is thankfully locked away!

Cheers bud, hopefully its gone on an epic journey like Bubba's did, but the harsh reality is that its probably already been stripped/torched/weighed in!!
The main reason its gutting is that its a nice tidy little one, and there arent many clean novas left, so finding a replacement wont be easy :cry:

Gutted for him - thought the days of joyriders taking Novas were gone.
Hope it gets found - but its unlikely now I guess. Probably was smoldering 30 mins after it was taken :-(

Nothing as yet, no sightings no info on suspects or anything which is unusual, i reckon it was weighed in by saturday morning :cry:
Just found out he now has this back, passenger door bent out, ignition/cowling smashed, stereo and sub gone and all alloys kerbed to death, other than that it seems fine thankfully!
Im actually quite shocked as i for one expected it to have been torched:eek:

Other side of town, he said there is a house about three doors down from him that seem to have a party every friday night, he suspects it was some of them stumbled out and took it for a ride home, funnily enough they didnt have a party last night it seems!

Aye its repairable, he said they only managed to lift one smudged print so doubt they will get anything from it, they bent the pass side door out apparently, so he is thinking razor blades in the shuts, so they get dna and not just prints if they try it again lol

Epic!! good job imo it was only a 1 pop and it was just taken for "a laugh" probably, if it was a xe or similar it would of been weighed in by now

don't know about xr3i he came down with a mate in a Volvo,it was a good car wish I never sold it
No wasnt you then, we bought it from Grimsby a few months back, i took him to get it in the blue xe pictured next to it, that pic was taken on the way home :d

Suprised he didnt have it at his lockup, just makes me more aware when mines on the road, it will be garaged everytime im not using it. Cant have nack all around here.
