its meant to help stiffen them up, I'm not attaching them to the car with tiger seal lol

I used 2k window bonding adhesive, sets very much like urethane.

TJ search "SIKA FLEX"

i just this stuff on my rear mount on my transfer box on my cav it works better than tigerseal imo :thumb:

A windscreen place could maybe fill them as the do a windscreen

cheers, there is some pu sealent stuff at tool station and its only 4 quid a tube, i will give that a try

Yes, when i first did it i start the car drove down the road thinking "funking hell! the engine shakes the whole car!" You feel everything ever the tiniest of throttle blip. But you get used to it very fast. I found it was only the "when pulling away hard" that you could feel the engine didn't move...

My whole car shakes when you start it up, its ace! Solid mounts are awesome :)

100 quid vs 4 quids worth of sealant, think i will take my chances lol

Make sure the rubber is clean or else it'll all fall out after 5 miles. (i used thinners, then bonding agent for screens)

some tyre cleaner (used before applying glue & a patch) might be a good idea...

but with my experience of windscreen bonding sealant, that stuff could stick sh!t to a greased shovel...

Windscreen bonder can also be got in 1k stuff too.

might put a hammer through the windscreen of the van and when they come out to repair it ask them to fill my mounts.

Also try use black tigerseal to I've seen some people use White and it just looks Horid black looks a little tidier
