Hi,

I have been offered and exhaust system and a set of springs and shocks but they are 2 and a half hours away by car. normally i would just stuck it up and make the drive but i'm on a mission to save money and i dont really fancy the 5 hour round trip along most of the m25 so i'm looking for solutions.

I know couriers can be reasonable but i have had no experience of them and havent got a clue what sort of money they would charge to deliver the above.

any suggestions welcomed

cheers

Driving it could work out cheaper if you have an economical car...thats gona end up being a massive and hefty package

You'll need dimensions but interparcel is who I used and guess delivery would be around £20

Depends how large/heavy they are. If the system isn't p!sstaking in length, you should be able to send both for £20.

Try Parcel2go - still my favourite for stuff staying in the country.

Just booked two things with them earlier, trying out their new service where you drop the parcel off at a local place. :)

That's how much it costs to send stuff. Anyone who charges double that and more is a thief. Plain and simple. lol

I know for a fact you can send the suspension for next to nowt mate. I sent x4 coilovers to Germany for about 30 quid.

not sure on dimensions, its a centre exhaust section and back box, along with 4 shocks and 4 springs?

Do the exhaust sections seperate? Just say the parcel is a metre long (or 950mm - whatever their max is) lol

Separate box for the shocks and springs imo. A tenner will cover that. Sent a 40? kg engine stand for the £8.50 plus VAT or whatever it is on P2G.

Transglobalpremium, use TNT or UPS, happy days and it will be cheap and 99.99999% going to get to you unlike myherpes or parcelfarce.

Where are the parts, there might be folks going near there from Essex etc anyway.

If you actually want it to turn up, dont bother with DHL.

Every service I use always delivers. That includes Hermes, Citylink, Yodel/DHL. Never had a problem with any. Remember, it's tracked, so it can't just disappear.
