bonnet extension

this may sound stupid but has anyone fitted a bonnet extension then found they can`t open the bonnet as can`t reach release lever luckly have not fitted properly yet lol any sugestions how to get round this

Could you get an extension welded on to the latch?

i made a "bad boy" bonnet extension in my younger silly days, i moddified aka cut he mk2 grill so i could get my hand in to open bonnet.

Remove the latch and fit bonnet pins/aerocatches?

thinking of that jack how secure are they

As long as you make sure they're bolted on tight you should be fine

You can get lockable ones if thats what you're worried about!
