Corsa GSI fuel pump in Nova Tank?

Will a Corsa GSi In tank pump fit into a 92' Nova Tank? tank on nova is of a 1.4i with in tank pump.

yes..... but it's too long so trim both ends down

so after trimming both ends, i will have to fit the nylon filter right? does that come with the pump itself?
