Nove GTE Skirt Fitting Qs

I have just bought some GTE side skirts for my Nova. I have three questions..

1) Will self tapping screws in the bottom hold them on without the need for the clips?

2) Is it OK to use smaller self tappers to chold the clips on?

3) How do i stop the shell rusting where i put the self tappers in?

Its best to stick with the clips, else ul start bodgin and never stop! Self tappers will hold it though if thats what you want to do. Depends how small!! But remember if you go to small then ur skirts will be a mile back the road before u notice :-) as big as possible is the best info U heard of wax oil? You can get it in a spray can like deoderant and spray it all around the holes that have been cut. Once you have screwed them in coat it again in the wax oil. After that just check every so often to make sure its ok.

i used pop rivets and just used 3 clips and pop riveted into the arch n i put n i used a bit of silicon to seal it

Just use all the original fixings, i havn't fitted mine yet tho :(

The rivots are well weird, LOL


i also noticed that the rivots need to be put on the car frist and the clips slid on from the side as the extra lip on the rivot won't go through the clip

The black dots are push buttons and you use the same rivots and push the caps over the rivot head and it grips, holding it tight.
