c20xe boys,help!!

Ok so hear it is my dad is running a nice xe in his kit car.Its on jenvy throttle bodies has a 4into1 manifold,just standard internals running approx 178bhp at the wheels. He now is looking into more power,what are you lot running as in cam wise and pisons,ps its a non coscast engine. Depends on budget and whether you want to go mechanical lifters etc. Sbd recommend a 278 and 284 set up with 2mm pockets in the pistons on hydraulics iirc...otherwise I have 300 and 304 cams and je slipper pistons
