C20xe nova, won't start.... Got fuel and spark, just won't fire up? Fires up with easy start and runs for upto a minute then dies... Any ideas? Cheers.

Got enough fuel pressure as did the squirt test of the nipple thing on fuel rail, just turns over and won't fire up, need the car back on road ASAP as its taken a month so far to do the conversion and have no other transport, :(

Is it because I have no lamda sensor? I have no plug for this? Should I earth pin 20 and see what happens?

Will run with no lambda plugged in mate, you have got the fuel lines on the correct way haven't you?
Might seem a silly question but have seen it done a couple of times.

The feed is the 1 on the right as u look at fuel rail from front of car behind the nipple thing, and return feed behind the fuel regulator? That right??

Yeah they are correct mate, sounds like a fuel issue if it will run on easy start

Is it because I'm still using the 1 litre nova battery? Is it not man enough to turn it over quickly enough?

Maybe I'm not getting enough fuel pressure? How can I tell? Or improve this?
what fuel pump are you using? Have you checked for obvious things? kinks in fuel pipes etc? how have you got the fuel pump wired up? have you checked the fuel pump relay is clicking? the only way to check fuel pressure is to fit a gauge onto the nipple on the rail.

It's a fuel pump off a cosworth lol, doesn't seem to be any kinks in fuel lines, got the red/blue fuel pump live running to it then the earth from pump to the car. Continuously runs soon as 2nd stage ignition on, not sure if relay makes a click, will look tomoz, annoying me now as so close to finishing :(

Update.....
Had it running on easy start and starving it of air, ran on tick over and revved up fine, sounds like its only running on 3 cylinders.... Have a through the ignition timing out? As I'm running a diff fuel pump etc to what the nova it came out of was... Any one know how to check this or adjust the ignition timing?
Cheers.
