How much pressure does the fuel pump of a nova GSi produce in PSI or bars or KPA if anyone know the conversions.
I need to know in bars or PSI prefferably coz i think the guy from whom i bought the pump gave me a wrong one.. i think of an astra 1.4i and if im not mistaken, it produces only half as much of pressure which is making the engine weak on high revs..
Thanks

0.8 bar i think.

i know wev hooked up a guage to the fuel rail using an spi pump and could only manage 27psi. with the mpi pump we set it at 46psi and it could easily go higher!!

GSi is 2.5 or 3 bar depending on the engnie

single point engines use 0.76bar pumps

some astra 1.4i's are spi and some are mpi (same engine as the SRi nova which also uses 3 bar)

so it depends where it came from realy

according to the specs of the pump, it reads as follows:
76KPA and if you convert it to BAR it reads 0.70bar
Then as you stated too, this is for a single point injection.

Thanks

GSI pump = 3 bar

SPI pump = 0.76 bar

Ok Thanks for the info.. just want to make sure that a Corsa GSi pump will fit in my tank now... i guess its bigger than the single point pumps.
