Hi,

Anyone recognise the make of dampers I have recently acquired - they are yellow and have a number of stamps on the bodies but no manufactures name which makes me suspicious , but the labels have partially rubbed off...

Jamex

And what's the general comment on Jamex stuff - if I remember correctly a bit on the budget end of dampers and the ride can be quite harsh - sound about right?

Yeah pretty much.
General opinion is not bad,but not good.
Basically the best of the "lower" end stuff.

The Eibach springs are staying, but the dampers will be going back. I'm after some Koni or Bilstein's ideally for an Astra G

That might be so, but they are going on my Meriva !!!

I've agreed to return them for a refund so job sorted.
