C16SE Engine wiring?

Ok so this is gonna sound a little silly, Does anyone know if there is a wire on the c16se engine wiring loom that goes as a positive to the fuel pump for the ecu to tell it to prime the engine etc?,

Yes there is!

Well, sort of. It doesn't prime when you turn the ignition on, only when you crank and obviously when the engine is running.

Yup only the E16 primes on ignition, C16 pump only runs when the engine is running as Andy said.

Ah thats good to hear, As the monkey that done my pump put it on a switch and wired straight to the battery on a switch,
Would this mean when i fit my new engine loom i can connect this wire to the existing wiring taking the battery out of the equation? its already earthed so in theory this should work? any advice appreciated
