Injector noise 1.6 nova gsi engine

hi guys hope u can help me :)
got 1.6 nova with gsi lump.
injectors are making a loud tapping noise and its annoying!
car runs fine tho!
what can i do isit an easy fix?

At tickover they just do that.. Unless its actually a tappet thats faulty......

Put the stereo on & only worry when they stop making the noise

Are you sure its not an HT lead breaking down?? or the fuel reg is running too high?

how do i check fuel reg?

you can't check the reg, but you can get a fuel pressure gauge to fit into the fuel line

Injectors on my C16SE have always been noisy as hell. Sadly not as noisy as one of my big ends now though :(

any1 selling any? just done all big ends on mine spend £800 rebuild, everythings sweet apart from injectors |:(

no, they were noisey before rebuild aswell
