short term insurance

Just wondering what the cheapest day insurance is? i've looked around and most companies use dayinsure as a third party to thier own day insurance.

The Mazda has got its MOT today and i rang my current insurer and they put a quote through and said i can't get short term cover as its more than 5 groups from my currently insured car, i've had the car for 6 years and it still made no difference:wtf:

I found it cheeper to insure my nova for the year, most tempcover sites charge between £35-£40 a day and it cost me £28 deposit and £14 a month on a classic car policy
