Anybody getting this?

i was really looking forward to the game, as all the others have been brilliant, there the best driving simulation games out there IMO, but.... i just downloaded the demo for horizon and its absolutely shocking, a big fat dog turd tied to string wound be more entertaining then playing that game, its a donkey piss,

just like need for speed underground on the ps2 but worse :(

Id wait till the game comes out first. when the last forza came out i downloaded the demo and was horse ****. felt like an arcade racer.

When the finished game comes out it its totaly different.

have you played on forza 4? is it like driving on that or more like a arcade racer?

My mate got it today, and he said its awesome, theres some cool cars on there aswell.

The actual driving is more like Forza 4 where its heavily based on simulation, for instance buying a Nissan Silvia then putting the Nissan GTR engine into it peaking at 1200BHP means you go sideways everywhere with assists turned off no matter what gear.....and yes, i built such a thing, its completely undriveable lol

The gameplay is quite arcady but the driving is surprising comparable to real life, with the exception of getting points for drifting, near misses, e-brake drift etc, its a nice mix that keeps the game entertaining. I'd say its got the simulation of Forza 4 but the arcade feel of Forza 3 when your not racing, this is mostly due to the storyline and open world, its basically based around a car show event and rather than rank through leagues like track racing your doing it to get "noticed" etc

im really looking forward to it i hope they havnt changed the physics. i did watch a review that said they have taken away the "fine tuning" option which means changing your tyre pressures, ride height, gear ratios etc. is a no no :(

i found that it worked really well on a tuned up audi quatro, just pumped the rear pressures up two, and the fronts down soon, meant that it still gripped really well, and i could get the back out allittle round corners :D

i agree, if your expecting a forza 4 replica on the open road your gonna be dissapointed. its still a good game, but the lack of new cars, and lack of features is disapointing

Compare Horizon to the new NFS and Horizon is the best game ever invented, new NFS is the worst game I've ever played and the car sound... don't even get me started.
