currently have a sony cdx m700r in my nova black panel i always thought was smart and love the way the panel looks blends in with the astra GTE clocks

^^^ i use to have one like that but it had a half moon on the one side on the screen

no bottons what so ever needed a remote lol, cant think what sony model it was tho :(

Kenwood Mask. Or the pull out Panasonic I have in the.loft. They are pretty old school.

I had that pioneer hedunit in my old fiat panda 4x4 years ago, everyone took the p!55 out of me tho because it was worth more than the car

I have my Alpine 7852R CD head unit with motorised face which I bought new around 2001. It is boxed and in as new condition. It was and still is a cracking head unit.
I have a really old school Kenwood tape player from the mid to late 80's which has a DIN pre-out! It is near mint and will go in the Swing with the period 4x way graphic equaliser amp to match. That will replace the Blaupunkt headunit that I think has been in the Swing from new.
Also got the original brown fronted radio that was OE fit on my Sport that I think I will refit :)

Oh nearly forgot I have a 90's Pioneer tape deck that also came in the Sport and a late 80's high end original GM Philips tape deck.

Only one old head unit that I'd entertain and that's a 7939 there are two on eBay but there £150 each,which I think is a bit buch seeing as you can buy the top of the line 2013 model for fifty quid more, despite it being a daddy head unit

Ive still got a Kenwood tape headunit with CD changer output lol and a CD Changer to go with it lol lol came in a car I bought in 2004 & it was a few years old then lol

I had a bit of a hissy fit 3 weeks ago whilst driving round the m25 and uninstalled the stereo and launched it out the window into the trees. the shredded speakers went too, at the next services.

I'm sure my parents mk2 Cav had that headunit, MW radio was harsh on the ears but it used to sound alright playing tapes. Talking heads, Phil Collins & Johnny Hates Jazz (oh dear) lol
