Buying it from Ireland by any chance?? If its the same one I'm thinking of the current owner is on here :thumb: if you join PNG Club (£10 a year) it will give you access to an area of the forum called Sportzone, there is a lot more info in there regarding cars and owners etc

It was yellownovasr's, but he sold it a while ago and it's already made it back across the water!

Hi all.. Thanks for the replies.. Yes it is the car you are thinking. Lee who owned it last seems very genuine and from what I can tell the car is right. 637 mile round trip for it but after finally getting to drive it tonight it was worth it. I will def pay the £10 to join. Need some little bits for the interior so am guessing someone on here may be able to help me out..
I'm fairly new on here but welcome, from what I've seen so far it's a very friendly place full of helpfull enthusiast's rather than people trying to be clever and start wars, quite refreshing really!
Enjoy your Sport, I should be collecting my old Sport back from the guy I sold it to 10 years ago a week on Friday so i know how it feels and I cannot wait, my other half thinks I'm completly mad and having a mid life crises.
As the others have said join up properly and get access to the Sport section there's loads of good stuff in there. Good luck with it.

Yeah I hope so.. I once joined a landrover forum to get advice on a rangerover and practically got abused online for owning the 'wrong' model! I was on here yeas ago when I owned my last sport and she's and it was good then. At 34 I kinda thought I must be cracking up wrong back into the scene but tonight's drive wiped that thought out my head! Bet you will have the same smile hen you pick yours up

All joined up! Sorry my typing went a bit wrong and I put she's instead of sr's.. Oops. I run a 2005 rr sport, well I barely drive it cos I have a transit van for work so usually end up in that all the time..well until I got the sport. I had 1 when I was 18 as well as a nova sr which I stripped and wide bodied etc (was featured in the PNG news) back in the day. Is there still such a magazine produced ?

I wasn't expecting to find one so good to be honest, my previous sport was a bit of a banger I'm comparison. Was just as relieved to find Lee such a genuine bloke which made the whole experience that little bit better

I am sure that is not an original style sport backbox. The original one should have a curled bend in the tailpipe. My one has a proper bend. I emailed ashley to see if they still made the backbox and they do. Its £114 delivered and they need to make it but dont know if it has the straight tailpipe like this one or has the curled bend like mine. :thumb:
