It's a buzzer that just plugs into the fuse box same as the relays

Is it not in the Haynes? I'm sure that you just plug the fuse/relay in the back and it's done.

Use a multi meter ,one lead on earth one on a pin at the slot and see if it gets a feed when the lights are put on then If the pins line up plug it in but make sure you pocket a few buzzers as there's a few annoying ones lol there's a 2 tone Corsa one probs on others vauxhall's that sounds good as far as a warning buzzer

My mk2 nova trip didnt have a warning buzzer as it was poverty spec , but i had a spare buzzer which was black and is the same size as a relay, it just plugged in the fuse box beneath the 3 relays that were there. The two feeds to it (ignition and side light were already live) but the earth wasnt connected up it was just taped up out the way so all i had to do was connect that to the drivers door earth then it worked ok. Im not sure if the cables would be there already on an early mk1 loom though.

after using a multimeter etc ive found that i have ever thing for it to work even the wire already plugged into the back of the door pin thing.
ive looked round my local scrapyard and all the vauxhalls in there ever don't have a relay or it aint there.
i was going to see how muchh one is new from vauxhall tomorrow from work.
ive been told some of the buzzer are reliey annoying so i wondering whats the best sounding one to ask for.
