Thought i may aswell post up a build thread for this beings as it's going to be a long term toy, and i'm fully rebuilding it over the winter ready for next season.
After doing two of the four races at the national championships and being 8th out of 56 overall, someone came up and offered to buy my race car there and then:

soo off it went  and the search for something new began.
Yesterday the eight hour trip started to go collect my new toy- bear in mind i'm 16 ;)
So here she is:
-running 2x suzuki gsxr 1000 engines,
-fox cannister shock absorbers,
-compromotive mo's,
-simpson exhaust system,
and lots of other trick bits ;)

I'd brought the car at a very reasonable price, knowing one of the engines had a rattle, when we got it back, it seemed to be top end, we decided to take it to a good friend of mine at powertech hoping that it could be sorted for the following weekend. So we stripped the rad off to make more room for access, got it up there and had it all apart, turned out it's terminal :'( anyway such is life.
So i then started the process of stripping it down.
firstly i'll stick up some more general pictures of it when we got it back and took the stickers off:

the floor had abit of surface rust, so i grabbed out the jenalite, and then the hammerite, and gave it a quick coat of rust killer, then paint to preserve it till the chassis gets resprayed:

i would also guess you'd like to see a video of her in action!? well heres one from a while back, when she had a different colour scheme (pink and blue) she's the one who leads it from the start and then just gets taken and ends up in second place, untill the race is stopped because of an accident.

i look forward to your comments,
next years plans are to do the usual autograss season,
maybe bring her pvs to take down the strip for a laugh lol,
do a few rwyb's, my uncle wants me to give him a run against his 700bhp 12 plate skyline, i think the 11.1 at 130mph that he did is pretty managable ;)
they also do a few stadium grass meetings, one on the rallycross track at blyton, and i could do the hillbilly sprint rally at the bont stages in wales with it aswell :D

Looking good Josh, so other than sorting the other engine are you just giving it a general tidy up then?
I'm going to be starting the strip down the f600 this weekend. I've already sourced some granada rear hubs and bearing carriers for converting to the tubular rear arms. Also got some arms ready which were off my friends old class 8, so were going to modify them to fit.
quick question, do you have access to a rule book and a scanner? I could do with reading the section on rollcages for specials as we are going to be making the roof higher on ours as it's a bit tight in there! If so drop me a pm :)
Also which way are you going for next season, arm restraints or window nets??
Cheers
Ian
There was a Hyabusa engines one of these at Shakespeare Raceway last time i went was running in the 12s but was just spinning the wheels most of the track lol

Yes I'm pretty much doing the engine and a good tidy up/ refurb some parts as it's been sat over a year! It would be better to scan the new rule book when it comes out next week? I'm running arm restraints, I've been running them for the last 4 years no problem, would reccomend to anyone, and I recon I can get 11's out of this down santa pod, possibly better? :D
