Make a template for the floor (could use carpet for the rear section).

Then you'd cut it out using mdf (use two pieces).

Make 'rafters' or whatever they're called to go under it, to keep it level/supported.

Then 'carpet' (in choice of material).

I'd just have it all painted/polished (angle grind off all fixings not used, smooth fith filler), and stick an alloy fuel cell into the spare wheel well. Looks LOADS better, and lighter too.

Hehe, cheers Ade

I've done several false floors for people. My latest interior is to be featured in TV in the next month or so. Chris_T aka Nova_Chris aka erm lots of other names lol (guy with the Blue 2.0 on White Speedlines) had his car photographed last week. I'm sure he'll put up some pics soon enough.

What ever you do, don't cut round the carpet it's not a tight fit. I'm selling these if your feeling lasy :? Otherwise fix a peice of wood to the car and measure from it to the shell, this will give you a template.
