This ended up being parked next to me in Ipswich at the weekend, looked good. Anyones on here?

My mates were taking the piss, they saw it first and kept saying we had to leave half hour earlier so I could have some "special time with the nova alone in the carpark!!!!"

Looks tidy, would look better on the original wheels though. I thought all mk1 sr's had sunroofs? or is that a re-shell?

My H reg Mk1 1.4 sr didn't have a sunroof. Afaik the tilt slide was optional.

Good spotting btw! :)

My old E reg 1.3 SR didn't have a sunroof,
Think they were a optional extra

I think the only options on sr's or add on's
Was three spoke 14" alloys or wheel trims
Sunroof and colour

This one looks the same as my old grey mk 1 E reg
Just on the change over to the 1.4's

No snow plough bumper, newer style bumper
Older style Burberry check interior
1.3 engine

1990 (h-reg) was the change over although ive seen both mk1 and mk2 sr's on a h-reg.

Thats quite rare as it must be one of the earliest sr's with the later mk1 bumpers etc...

Looks very clean, subtle mods that don't ruin it.

I had an E reg 1.3 SR that had the later bootlid (grab handle type) and had the skinny bumper/seperate grille combo as per the pic, ive also owned an H reg mk2 1.4 SR :thumb:

Regarding the mk 1 to mk 2 change it was very late 1990. As far as the ones i know of that are left licenced all 1990 are mk 1 and all 1991 are mk 2
