Fuel lines for underneath a MK1

Can anyone tell me if there is a kit available to buy or can you buy the replacement hose? The hose under my car is plastic pipe from tank to just before fuel pump

I used copper pipe 8mm iirc from b+q and made my own

iirc its 8mm for injection, and 6mm for carb!

Carb fuel pipes have a 6mm inner diameter, and about 8mm outer diameter as standard.

Ok, didn't realise you could just make your up. Mine is a carb engine so sounds like 6mm copper pipe is the answer.

simon. go to a truck spares place & ask them for nylon pipe that is petrol proof, you can get a roll of it quite cheap, or at a decent place, a cut length.

Wrong, carb are 8mm feed and 6mm return. GTE/GSi injection are 8mm both feed and return and 12mm between tank and pump, and SPi are also both 8mm IIRC

This. Even if you buy it online, it's only about 17p per metre, and that was for 8mm injection stuff.

the feed pipe is 8mm od, 6mm id, and the return is 6mm od, but i can't remember the id.
