Equal length shafts

Will an equal length shaft setup work with a n/s short big block conversion shaft?

Can a cav/calibra n/s shaft be used? Do you know the length of the bare shaft? Im assuming the longer one in the picture there is for the o/s?

The short shaft is 418mm from end to end with no cvs on mate iirc
